SoCal Pride '21 Week Starts November 1 in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS – The 35th Annual Palm Springs LGBTQ Pride Festival will happen November 1 to November 7. Organizers have announced there will be a parade and multiple events throughout the city during the entire week. The entertainment lineup features musical acts Third Eye Blind, Jody Watley, A Flock of Seagulls, Shannon and others.

The event opens daily at 11:00 a.m. closing each evening at 9:00 p.m. It will be located on North Palm Canyon Drive between West Amado Drive and East Tahquitz Canyon Way. Events will also take place near the new Downtown Park on Belaro Road and Museum Way.

This years theme is, “You are included.” This annual event started as a dinner and evening of celebration in 1986. As time passed, it grew into the multi-day collection of events it is today. The final day starts with the Pride Parade.

While the event is, “gateless and ticketless”, according to the official Internet application, all donations are appreciated and benefit the Palm Springs Pride Organization. There are always opportunities to volunteer at this event. For more information, visit their official website.
